How to Set Up Printer Devices in Mekari POS F&B

In Mekari POS F&B, you can connect your cashier device to an external printer to print receipts or sales transactions directly from the cashier application. There are two types of printers: one for printing payment receipts (struk) and one for labels, which are typically used to provide information related to customer order details. Here are the steps.

  1. Log in to your cashier account.

  2. Click the “four dots” icon in the top left corner to access the menu list.

  3. Click “Device Management” under Settings.

  4. Click the “Printer” tab, then click the “+ Add Device” button.

A. Receipt Printer

  1. A pop-up will appear; select the thermal printer model you are using.

    1. If your printer model is not listed, you can choose according to the receipt paper size: Standard-58 for printers with 58mm paper, and Standard-80 for 80mm paper.

  2. The Printer Type section will automatically appear after you select the Printer Model.

  3. Enter the printer name in the Printer Name field.

  4. Choose the connection type to use. You can select USB, Bluetooth, LAN, or WiFi, depending on the printer model you selected.

  5. Under Printer Usage, you can check the intended printer usage.

  6. If you select Paid, an option Link cashier station will appear to choose which cashier station the printer will be assigned to.

  7. If you select Kitchen, an option Link kitchen station will appear to choose which kitchen station the printer will be assigned to.

  8. Next, you can select the paper width used, either 58mm or 80mm.

  9. If the settings are correct, click “Save”.

B. Label Printer

  1. Select the printer model XP-Q304F(365B), and the label will automatically appear as the Printer Type.

  2. Enter the printer name in the Printer Name field.

  3. Choose the connection type to use.

  4. Under Paper Width, there are three paper size options you can select based on your needs.

  5. Then, under the Link kitchen station option, you can choose which kitchen station the printer will be assigned to.

  6. Then click “Save” to save the settings.

  7. The printer you added will appear here. You can click “Print Test” to test print or “Edit” to change the printer settings.
