How to Manage Cashiers and Payment Receipts in Mekari POS F&B

In Mekari POS F&B, you can set up sections and cashier receipts if you have more than one cashier. Later, you can print different receipts depending on the sales channel, order type, or area. Here are the steps.

  1. In the Back Office, go to the Settings menu.

  2. Then select the Receipt Template submenu and click “Cashier Settings”.

  3. You will see the default cashier section. To add a new section, click “+Add New Cashier”.

  4. Enter the Cashier Name in the provided field.

  5. In the Printing style section, select Combine products if you want the payment receipt to be printed as one for all orders from the area handled by that cashier, or select Split print if you want receipts printed separately per area, or Same as shopping cart if you want to print receipts according to the products added to the cart.

  6. Choose from which sales source the orders come.

  7. Also select which Order Types are accepted by that cashier.

  8. In the Printing Area section, choose the area to assign the cashier according to their operational location.

  9. Finally, in the Select Receipt section, there are several types of order receipts that can be printed in that cashier section.

    Explanation:

    Payment invoice The receipt will be printed as proof of customer payment.
    Daily receipt The receipt will be printed as proof of daily sales report.
    Pre-settlement order The receipt will be printed if the customer wants to see the bill before payment is made.
    Customer view order The receipt will be printed to view the customer's order.
    Takeout order The receipt will be printed for takeaway and delivery orders.
    Order cancellation The receipt will be printed if a customer cancels an order.
    Shift handover receipt The receipt will be printed as a shift change report.

  10. If the settings are correct, click “Save”.

  11. After the section is successfully created, there are several actions you can take when hovering over the cashier section. Select the “eye” icon to view the section display, select the “pencil icon” to make changes, or the “trash icon” to delete.
