In Mekari POS F&B, you can create a dine-in transaction, where customers place orders and the orders will be served directly at the table. This feature facilitates the management of on-site dining services to be more organized and efficient. Here are the steps.
Log in to the cashier application.
Click the “four dots” icon menu at the top left corner.
Then click the “Table” menu.
Next, select the Area where the customer will be seated.
-
If the Area has been determined, choose an empty Table marked in gray to seat the customer.
Table color legend:
- Gray: Empty table
- Green: Customer has not ordered food.
- Orange: Customer is waiting for food.
- Red: Customer at that table has not made a payment. Specify the number of customers who will occupy the table and click “Select Table”.
Then select the menu ordered by the customer; you can also view the menu by category on the left side.
-
Selected menu items will appear like this, and click “Save” if you want to save the order as a draft. Next, click “total payment” to send the order details to the kitchen, and you will be directed to the payment page.
- If the cashier returns to this page, the cashier can still add customer orders if desired.
- If the order is to be paid, the cashier can click “Total payment” again and then will be directed to the payment page. Select the type of payment the customer wants.
-
Enter the amount of payment received and click “Payment”.
You can also click “Print Pre-Bill” to print a summary of the bill before the customer makes the payment.
The bill has been successfully paid.
