In Mekari POS F&B, you can create pickup/take away/dine-in transactions without a table, meaning customers order food or drinks on-site, to be taken home, or picked up without dining in. You can also set the order pickup time to make the handover process more organized and efficient. Here are the steps.

  1. Log in to the cashier application.

  2. Select the icon “cutlery (dine-in)” for dine-in orders without a table, “food packaging (takeaway)" for orders to take away, or the icon “customer with order (pickup)” for orders to be picked up later. The difference in order types will affect the order details recording and sales reports. However, the order processing method is the same, using the close-bill method.

  3. In the Cashier menu, select the items ordered by the customer.

  4. If the order is correct, click “order total”.

  5. Choose the order type desired by the customer and enter the Amount received, then click “Payment”.

  6. Payment is successful, then click “Paid” to return to the main page.

  7. The following pop-up will appear; click “Print Pre-Bill” if you want to print the food production receipt for the kitchen.

  8. After the order is paid, it will enter the Pickup menu, and the food production receipt will be received by the kitchen.

  9. When the food is finished being prepared by the kitchen and ready for pickup, the cashier can click the loudspeaker to call the pickup number.

  10. You can also type the customer's pickup number and click “Call”, so the number will appear on the left side of the column.

  11. The cashier can also click the checkmark icon to mark the order as completed and received by the customer.

That concludes the explanation on how to make dine-in transactions with and without a table. Next, learn how to integrate Mekari POS F&B with Jurnal, here.
