How to Merge/Split Bills in Mekari POS F&B

In Mekari POS F&B, cashiers have the feature to merge or split bills according to customer transaction needs. This feature facilitates the payment process, especially when customers want to pay separately or combine several orders into one bill. Here are the steps.

Log in to the Mekari POS F&B cashier application.
Click the “four dots” icon in the top left corner.
Next, click the “Table” menu.

A. How to Merge Bills (Merge Bill)

To merge bills, you can click “Merge” at the bottom right corner.
Click the first "table number" whose bill you want to merge. For example, we will merge the bills from tables A-003 and A-004.
Then click the second “table number” as the merge destination. Here, the orders from table number A-004 (Merge from) will be merged into table A-005 (Merge to) so the bill will be under table number A-005.
You will see the merged table numbers at the bottom and click “Complete”.
The bill from table number A-004 will be moved to table number A-005, making table number A-004 empty.

B. How to Split Bills (Split Bill)

Click the “Split Bill” button at the bottom right.
Click the “table number” whose order payment you want to split (split bill).
Select which orders in the left column you want to separate the payment for.
The selected orders will move to the right column, and if the orders are correct, click “Payment Split”.
Review the orders again, and click “total bill” to proceed to the payment page.
Choose the payment method the customer wants, enter the amount received, and click “Payment”.
Payment has been successfully made; click “Check Out” to make payment for the next order.
Next, you will see the following display. You can split the orders again by following the previous steps, or you can click the “x” button to exit the split bill pop-up.
The following pop-up will appear; click “OK”. Or click the “Cancel” button to cancel the bill splitting.
Next, you can continue payment for the order or add orders.
