In Mekari Sign, you can add a passcode to documents that have been uploaded. Passcodes are useful for providing security to documents so that only the owner of the passcode can see the document. Here are the steps.
- Upload the document you want to provide a passcode for.
- If the document has been uploaded, click the "Action" button.
- Then select Document passcode.
- Then an information pop-up will appear as follows and click “Edit”.
- You can enter the passcode in the column provided and click “Save changes”.
The passcode can contain a minimum of 6 characters.
- After the document is given a passcode, the signer will receive an email notification of passcode information as follows.
- Then when you as the signer sign the document, the signer must enter the passcode as follows and click "Open document".
- Then the document can be signed.
