How to Set Up Receipt Templates and Content in Mekari POS F&B

In Mekari POS F&B, you can set up and customize various types of Cashier Receipt Templates according to your business operational needs. Each template can be customized to display relevant information based on the type of transaction. Here are the steps.

A. Receipt Template Categories

  1. Go to the Settings menu.

  2. Select the Receipt Template submenu and click “Receipt Template”.

  3. Next, you will see several receipt templates categorized by type.

    Description:

    Cash Register Receipt
    Bill In the Bill tab, you can customize the billing template that will be given to customers as proof of payment.
    Daily Receipt This is a daily sales receipt that cashiers can use to recap and review sales transactions conducted within one day.
    Preliminary Bill This receipt is usually used to show the temporary order details to customers for review before making a payment.
    Customer Viewing Order This receipt is intended for customers so they can view the details of the order made directly, such as the menu list, item quantity, and total price.
    Takeout order This receipt appears to show the details of customer orders that will be taken away or a receipt from a delivery order.
    Order Cancellation Form This is an order cancellation receipt used as proof or documentation of a transaction cancellation made by the customer.
    Shift Change Receipt This is a shift change receipt used as proof of handover between cashiers or shifts.
    Kitchen Ticket
    Production order This is a kitchen production order receipt used as a guide for the kitchen team to prepare customer orders, containing menu details, item quantity, and special notes related to the order.
    Cancel dish This is a receipt related to menu items canceled by customers.
    Transfer Table Order This is a table order transfer receipt used to inform the kitchen team of changes or transfers of orders from one table to another so that the production process remains in accordance with the latest order.
    Label
    Order Production Label This is a label-shaped receipt that can be printed using a special label or sticker printer, used as a marker on orders during the production process, containing important information such as menu name, item quantity, and special details to facilitate identification and order management.

B. Setting Up Receipt Templates and Content

  1. Go to the Settings menu.

  2. Select the Receipt Template submenu and click “Receipt Template”.

  3. You can customize the template by clicking the “receipt category” you want to customize and then click the “+Add New Receipt Format” button.

  4. You will see the following display, on the left side are the information/content options you can select to change, the center shows the receipt preview, and the right side contains settings you can modify.

  5. In the column on the left side, there are several pieces of information you can change.
    Description:

    Basic Information

    Contains basic information included in the receipt such as:

    • Ticket Name
    • Store Logo
    • Store Name
    • Table Number
    • Transaction Number/Table Number
    • Order Type
    • Check-out Time
    • Cashier
    • Order Source
    • Order Number
    • Store Address
    • Store Phone
    • Pickup Number
    • Tax ID
    • SN
    • Receipt Number

    Dish Information

    Contains information related to the customer's order menu such as:

    • Menu
    • Order Note
    • Cancel items
    • Total

    Payment Information

    Contains information related to costs/payments such as:

    • Payment method
    • Paid amount
    • Change
    • Payment Combination

    Member

    Contains information related to customer points/membership (member card), such as:

    • Member information
    • Points Left

    Bottom Bar

    Contains information related to the bottommost bar on the receipt such as:

    • Custom image
    • Custom text
  6. Meanwhile, on the right side is the Attribute Panel which can be used to modify information within the receipt.

    Description:

    Font Size


     

    You can change the font size as desired in this section.

    Bold Font

    Enable the toggle to bold the font.

    Alignment

    You can adjust the text alignment settings.

    Actions This option allows you to change the position, delete, or copy text/information.
    Configuration Slide the toggle to activate the receipt template on the cashier side.
  7. To change existing information, you can click the “column” you want to change on the display side or you can also click the “column name” on the information side.

  8. For example, if you want to add a logo to the receipt, you can click the “Store Logo” column under Basic Information.

  9. Then upload the logo by clicking the “orange-colored column”.

  10. The uploaded logo will appear like this.

  11. If there is information you do not want to display on the receipt, you can click the “information column” you want to remove.

  12. Scroll the Attribute Panel column on the right side and click “Delete”.

  13. The information will then be removed from the receipt.
