How to Set Up Payment Methods in Mekari POS F&B

In Mekari POS F&B, there are several payment methods you can choose from. The activated payment methods will automatically be displayed on the cashier side during the checkout process. Here are the steps.

  1. Go to the Store Settings menu in the Mekari POS F&B Back Office.

  2. Then select the Payment & Fees submenu and click “Payment Methods”.

  3. On the Payment Methods page, you will see Cash as the default payment method.

  4. To add other payment methods, click the “+Add” button.

  5. A pop-up will appear, in the Checkout method section, select Custom checkout method for payment methods that require manual entry (no integration with payment gateway).

    For Online Payment methods, currently only QRIS is available. You can register here.

  6. Enter the Payment Method Name.

  7. You can enable the toggle Checkout method status if you want to display the payment option on the cashier side during checkout.

  8. There is a toggle Show QR code on front screen to display the payment on the customer screen. 

    - This feature only applies to users who use the SUNMI D3 Pro device equipped with a secondary screen (customer display).
    - If you upload an image for the payment method, it will be displayed on the customer display when the customer selects that payment method at the cashier.
    - This feature is generally used for static QR payment needs already available in the store, where customers need to manually enter the payment amount through their device.

  9. If you enable this toggle, you need to upload an image to be displayed to the customer.

  10. If you do not enable it, you can upload an icon for the payment type.

  11. If there is a refund, you can select the method you want.

    If you integrate Mekari POS and Mekari Jurnal, currently the refund payment method is only recorded as cash on Sales Return in Mekari Jurnal.

  12. If the settings are correct, click “OK” to save.

  13. The payment method has been successfully created, you can activate it by clicking the “Activate” button.

  14. You can also edit existing payment methods by clicking “Edit” or delete them by clicking “Delete”.

    You cannot delete payment methods created by the system.
