How to Place Orders via QR Code in Mekari POS F&B

In Mekari POS F&B, customers can place orders through a QR code by scanning the code available on the table, making the ordering process faster and more convenient without having to wait for the cashier. To be able to order via QR code, here are the steps.

A. How to Place an Order

  1. Customers need to scan the order QR code that you have provided.

  2. After the customer scans the QR code, they will be directed to the main page of the ordering website to start selecting the menu and placing an order.

  3. Next, customers are asked to select the number of visitors before continuing the ordering process and click “Start ordering”.

  4. Then, customers can choose the desired menu by clicking “menu image”.

    Customers can click the “Bell” icon to request assistance from the waiter.

  5. Customers can enter notes related to the order if needed and increase the quantity of the ordered menu, then click “Add to Cart Rp xx” to save.

  6. At the bottom, customers can see the total payment for the order made. If the ordered menu is correct, click “To payment”.

  7. The order has been successfully placed. Customers can click “Continue ordering” if they want to order other menus or “View order” to see the order list.

  8. If the customer chooses View order, they will see the following information.

  9. When the order is complete, customers can make payment directly at the cashier. The cashier can manage the payment according to the customer's table number.

B. How to Make Payment with QR Code

This section can be done if you activate the Order + Pay option in the QR Code settings

  1. After the customer places the order and the order is complete, the customer can make payment immediately by clicking the “paper” icon.

  2. In the order list, click the “Payment” button or the customer can also click “order” to see the order details.

  3. If the customer's order is correct, they can click “Payment” to start the payment process.

  4. Select the online payment method provided, then click the “Proceed to payment” button. Complete the payment process according to the instructions of each payment method.

  5. After payment is completed, you can see the order details with the status Completed.
