How to Create Customer Queue Numbers in Mekari POS F&B

In Mekari POS F&B, there is a queue number feature that makes it easier for cashiers to manage dine-in customers when all tables are full by recording the name, phone number, and number of guests. This feature is connected to the dine-in order type with tables and is equipped with queue number receipts and voice call queue. This feature can only be used for Plus and POS 360 subscriptions. Here are the steps.

A. Queue Settings in Back Office

  1. Log in to your Mekari POS F&B Back Office.

  2. In the Store Management menu, select the Store Settings submenu.

  3. In the Queue Settings tab, you can set queue number classifications based on table capacity.

  4. In the Queue Number Settings tab, you can set the initial queue number order and the maximum queue number limit.

B. Creating a Queue in the Cashier Application

  1. To create a queue, log in to your Mekari POS F&B cashier application.

  2. Click the “four dots” icon in the top left corner.

  3. Then click the “Queue Number” menu.

  4. Click “number” to specify the number of visitors.  Click “Take a number” to create a queue number.

    Click “More” to add a name and phone number if needed. 

  5. The created queue number will look like this.

  6. You can call the customer by clicking the “speaker” icon.

  7. If there is an empty table, you can seat the customer at that table by clicking the “enter” icon.

  8. Then select the empty table where the customer will be seated.

  9. You can also cancel the queue by clicking the “x” icon.

  10. You can view previous queue history by clicking the “History” tab.
