In Mekari POS F&B, cashiers can manage dine-in table (with table) and dine-in non table (without table) orders. Here is an explanation of both.

A. Dine-in Table Orders (with table)

In dine-in table orders, customers can place orders manually through the cashier or via QR code. The Dine-in order type with table can only use the open bill scheme, so the order will be processed immediately when the customer places the order.

For this type of order, you need to set up tables so that the cashier can receive and manage orders according to the customer's table number.

Additionally, for this order type, you can also use the Queue feature accessible on the cashier side. Empty tables can be added with the top queue with the number of visitors matching the capacity of the empty table.

This order type is suitable for full-service restaurants or cafes that have table numbers for ordering.

B. Dine-in Non-Table Orders (without table)

Dine-in non table orders (without table) are walk-in orders where customers order to eat on the premises but without needing to specify a table number. The Dine-in order type without table can only use the close bill scheme, so the order can only be processed when the customer makes the payment.

This order type is suitable for fast food restaurants or cafes that do not have table numbers for ordering.

That is the explanation regarding the differences between dine-in table and dine-in non table orders in Mekari POS F&B. Next, learn how to invite staff here.
