How to Start and End a Shift in the Mekari POS F&B Cashier Application

After the cashier application installation process has been completed, you can then operate the application for dine-in needs and quickly input orders. To operate it, staff must start a shift, and when the operational schedule is over, staff must end the shift. Here are the steps to operate the Cashier application.

A. How to Start a Shift

  1. Open the Cashier application on your Android tablet or mobile device.

  2. You will see the following screen and click “Start shift”.

  3. Next, staff can add the Starting Cash when beginning the shift.

    During the shift, the cashier can add or reduce cash using the Petty Cash feature.

B. How to End a Shift

  1. Go to the Profile menu by clicking the “profile icon” in the top right corner.

  2. The following pop-up will appear, then click “Shift Change”.

  3. Click the “Confirm shift handover” button.

  4. The staff on duty needs to enter the total ending cash and click “Confirm”.
