How to Add Single Unit Products in Mekari POS F&B

After creating a single store, in Mekari POS F&B you can add products either as single unit products or package/combo products. Here are the steps to create a single unit product.

  1. Log in to the Mekari POS F&B Back Office.

  2. Go to the Products menu and click the “Products” tab.

  3. Click the “+Add product” button and select Add Product.

  4. Next, you will enter the following page, fill in the Product Name in the provided field.

    Click “+ Add Language” to specify the language for the product. This feature allows you to add product names in various languages, which will affect the display on the customer side. For example, the merchant can set the product name in Indonesian as “Bakso” and in English as “Meatball.”

  5. Next, you can add a Product Alias to facilitate product name searching. For example, the Fried Rice product has the alias: NSGR.

  6. Click “+Add” to add a product collection (category). Collections are used to group products that will then be displayed on the cashier side.

  7. A pop-up will appear, you can select an existing collection or enter a new collection name and click “OK”.

  8. In the Product Specifications, you can choose multiple spec or single spec.

    1. If you choose Multiple Spec, you can create variants of the product by adding them in the Settings specifications. For example, the Fried Rice product has 2 variants: Special Fried Rice and Goat Fried Rice.

    2. If you choose Single Spec, the product will have no variants.

  9. Enter the SKU Code in the provided field. For products with multiple variants, you need to add SKU Codes for each variant.

  10. Set the Selling Price for the product. For products with multiple variants, you need to add a Selling Price for each variant.

  11. You can also add a Default Purchase Price to be included in the revenue report calculations.

  12. Choose the Sales Method, whether the product is Sold per product or Sold by weight.

  13. In the Product Unit, click “+Add” to add product units.

  14. In the Price Adjustment section, you can choose to Enable or Disable. If enabled, the cashier can change the price during the checkout process.

  15. You can set a product image or photo, or use color and shape for the product.

  16. If everything is correct, click “Save”.

  17. The product has been successfully added.

  18. You can edit an existing product by clicking “Edit”.

  19. Click the “three dots” then select Not for Sale if you want the product to not be sold or Delete to remove the product.
