How to Map Taxes and Additional Fees in Mekari POS F&B and Mekari Jurnal Integration

In the integration between Mekari POS F&B and Mekari Jurnal, you can map taxes on products and fees. Products and fees can be taxed and mapped to the Jurnal Sell Tax account. Currently, only Exclusive Tax is available for products, and the tax can be applied either after or before discounts. Here are the steps.

Important
Make sure the tax settings on the cashier side, on the Jurnal integration page, and also in the Jurnal Sell Tax settings are consistent to ensure the same tax amount.

A. Tax Settings in Mekari Jurnal

  1. Go to the Other Lists menu.

  2. Then select Taxes.

  3. Create a new tax by clicking the “+Create Tax” button.

  4. Then set up the tax as follows and click “Create Tax”.

B. Tax Settings in Mekari POS F&B

  1. Go to the Store Management menu.

  2. In the Payment & Charge submenu, click “Tax”

  3. Currently, there is a default PB1 tax. To edit an existing tax, click the “Pencil” icon.

  4. Make the necessary changes and click “Ok”.

C. Tax Settings in the Integration Menu

  1. Go to the Integration menu and select the Jurnal submenu.

  2. To set up taxes, click the “settings” icon in the Order section.

  3. Enable the settings as shown below and click “Save”.

    Enable the toggle Order Discount if you want to set whether discount data will be sent and recorded in the Sales Invoice and Receive Payments journal.

D. Additional Fees Settings

Fees can be recorded according to the selected CoA. Fees can be set to be included or not included in the order tax calculation. Make sure the fee settings in POS and the Jurnal Integration page are consistent to ensure the same tax amount.

  1. Go to the Store Management menu.

  2. In the Payment & Fees submenu, select Additional Fees.

  3. Then, click the “+ Create Additional Charge” button.

  4. Add the settings as shown below and click “OK”.
