How to Set Custom Fields on Mekari Sign

Mekari Sign provides a Custom Fields feature that allows document creators to create custom fields in multiple documents at once. Once created, Custom fields can be reused and are available to be filled.

Here are the steps.

  1. Go to the Settings menu, click Custom fields.
  2. Click “Create new field”.
  3. Then, complete the custom field creation form.

1 Name Fill in the name of the custom field you want to create.
2 Type

Select one of the field types, namely  Text, Email, Currency, Phone number,  Date, and so on. Then, complete the format settings and  Text settings of the Custom Field.

When you select a custom field type, you must specify advanced settings related to that type for example Date, you can select the date format as follows:

Font type: Select the font type.
- Font size: Select the font size, boldness, italics, or underline.
- Font color: Determine the font color.
- Context text: Fill in the custom field content text if needed.
- Lock content text: Click to lock the content text.
- Placeholder text: Fill in the custom field label as a marker.
- Helper tooltip: Fill in an instruction for the custom field if needed.

3 Assigned to Select users who can use this field.
- All users: All Mekari Sign users.
- Selected users: Only some users that you can select.

- Select users: Click to select users.
- Delete icon (-): Click to delete a name from the list.

  1. Click “Save” to save the Custom field.
  2. Then, the Custom field created is saved in the list. To edit or delete a custom field individually, you can click “Actions”, then Edit or Delete.

    You perform Bulk Delete by checking several custom fields at once.
