How to Implement the Use of AI when Uploading Documents

Mekari Sign has an artificial intelligence (AI) feature that detects document types automatically to help users upload documents more easily. This technique merely reads the beginning of the document to gain context, rather than viewing the complete manuscript. The goal is to give faster and more accurate suggestions while maintaining data privacy.

With this feature, you only need to upload documents, and the system will determine the type of document with a high level of accuracy, thus simplifying the upload process. For more details, see the following steps.

1) Document Type Suggestions: This feature allows AI to suggest the type of document uploaded based on the analysis of the first page of the document. This process only reads the beginning of the document to get context, without accessing the entire document. The goal is to provide faster and more accurate recommendations without compromising data privacy.

3) Document Summary and Extraction:
Our AI can read the entire document to summarize and capture key points, such as date, related parties, and transaction value. This information is pulled as metadata that is used internally to improve user experience and help communicate with AIRENE (our AI). We ensure that the data captured is only used as metadata, which we will not share with third parties or use for other purposes outside of developing and improving Mekari Sign services. Furthermore, we confirm that the contents of your document are not stored or processed further after the metadata is generated.

4) Communication with AIRENE:
The metadata generated from the document summary can be used to communicate with AIRENE, which acts as an AI-based virtual assistant. AIRENE processes user queries based on the data that has been converted into metadata, without directly accessing the original document.

  3. On the following page, you can enable AI implementation options.

    - Automate document type selection: Enable if you need AI's help to categorize documents into types certain documents, such as NDA, contract agreement, etc. You can still change the document type by clicking “Change” if you see the AI prediction is not appropriate, or you can skip and proceed to the next stage, and the predicted document type will be set as the document type.

    - Document summary:
    Enable if you need AI's help to summarize the document. You can see the AI ​​Document Summary when you open the document details page, as shown in the following image.

  4. Then, after AI is active, you can continue the process of uploading both electronic documents PSrE or Global Sign.
