On Mekari, you can choose the sign-in option with SAML SSO. However, to be able to use this option, you need to integrate first. To enable SAML integration, you need to create a new application through the admin center in Jumpcloud. Here are the steps.
A. Creating a New Application on Jumpcloud
- Go to https://console.jumpcloud.com/#/applications.
- Then select the SSO Applications menu and click the "Add New Application" button.
- Then search “saml” in the search field and click “Custom SAML App” in the search option that appears.
- Next, this screen will appear, and click "Next"
- In the Enter general info section, enter the name of the Mekari product you want to use. You can enter a description and logo (optional), but if you need a Mekari product logo, you can request it through our integration specialists.
- When finished, click "Save Application".
- In the Review section, you can select “Configure Application” which will redirect you to the application page.
B. Mekari Account Settings
Before setting up the SAML integration in Jumpcloud, you need to send the SAML configuration data to the Mekari integration team first so they can set up the integration in the Mekari Account.
- On the “SSO Applications” page, you can click on the Mekari Product “Talenta”.
- Then here you can share the metadata file to Mekari by downloading it via the “Export Metadata” button. Alternatively, you can copy the Metadata URL and share it with Mekari's team of integration specialists.
- After setting up the Mekari Account, the Mekari integration specialist team will provide you with detailed configurations that you need to apply to your application.
C. Integrate Mekari Account with Jumpcloud
Once you get the configuration data, you can continue the integration between Mekari Account and Jumpcloud by following the steps below:
- In the email you receive from the Mekari team, you will get a SAML metadata URL that you can download and save as an XML file by adding the .xml extension to the downloaded file.
- Go back to the "SSO Applications" page, and click on the Mekari Product "Talenta".
- Then you can upload the XML file by clicking the “Upload Metadata” button.
- Make sure the SP Entity ID column and ACS URL column contain "https://account.mekari.com". Once verified, click “Save”.
- Once complete, you can try the integration to make sure it works properly.
