Currently Mekari provides a Password Policy feature in the Mekari Access menu for companies, so that users with the owner role in SSO can access this feature on Mekari Launchpad. This process is a prerequisite for companies to use the Password Policy feature to access Mekari Launchpad. Here are the steps.
Important
The Mekari Access feature is an add-ons feature. You need to subscribe first to be able to access it by contacting your Sales Team representative. Once the feature is active, you can carry out the password management process at the next stage.
- Click the following link https://account.mekari.com/#/.
- Log in to your Mekari account.
- Next select Mekari access menu.
- Then click “Configure” to be able to manage the complexity, length and validity period of the password.
- Then in the following screen, check the requirements and enter the minimum password length.
- In this case, you can pick more than one type of password requirement.
- The minimum password length is 8-50 characters. - Then click “Save changes”.
- Next, the following information pop up will appear stating that the change in password policy will apply to all Mekari products used by the user. In this case, each user will be asked to change the password according to the policy you have chosen. Then click “Save” to continue.
- Next, your account will be logged out automatically and you will be directed back to the Sign in page. Click "Sign in" to continue.
Your previous email and password will be filled in automatically.
- Then the following notification will appear. Click "Change password".
- The previously created password policy will appear in the following screen. You can re-enter the current password, replace the password with a new password, and confirm the new password in accordance with the policy that has been created. Make sure all the data is correct, then click "Save password".
- Next you will be directed to the Sign in page.
- Then you will be directed back to the Sign in page. Log in again using the new password that has been changed.
- So if you return to the Mekari access page, your new password policy has changed status to Active.
You can still change the policy by clicking “Edit” as shown in the image above. Then you will be redirected to the following screen.
- If you want to disable the policy, click “Deactivate”.
- Then the password policy status will change to Disabled. If you want to reactivate the policy, click "Activate".
